#220 | AstraZeneca donates flu vaccines... not out of choice
Hello, and welcome back to The Kable. We hope you had a great weekend. We hope it was better than AstraZeneca's, whose price negotiations for flu vaccines dragged on with Swiss authorities for so long the company ended up donating 10,000 doses before they expired.
There was good news, too, for AstraZeneca as it set up a new manufacturing plant in Qassim, Saudi Arabia, in partnership with local drugmaker Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries & Medical Appliances Corporation (Spimaco).
