Hello, and welcome back to what is a surprisingly light Kable for a Tuesday. 

In the UK, AbbVie and Eli Lilly have exited UK's drug pricing agreement, the Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing and Access, citing increased repayment rates. 

Devex takes a really deep dive into the immediate future of the African Medicines Agency.

Belgian conglomerate Azelis is reportedly looking to make a splash in Bangladesh with a big investment in raw materials for food and pharma.

Another day, another statistical model on China's Covid crisis. This new model suggests the current wave in China has already peaked. The model also says that the lack of data from China means its conclusions could turn out to be wildly speculative. The WHO, meanwhile, has asked China to monitor excess deaths due to Covid after a jump of more than 20,000 deaths.

And finally, in what we're certain is unrelated news, 2022 saw China's population falling for the first time in 60 years.
